The Good, the Bad & the Ugly

The Good: Joseph's sister is here with her kids visiting from New York. They will be here a month sharing our home. We are excited to spend time with them!

The Bad: Our checking account has been hacked into and someone is on a spending spree quickly draining our account. The account has been frozen, and hopefully our bank will get it sorted out and reimburse our account. Nerve-racking. Maddening. (Dating & Escort Services in Minnesota? Pleeeze!)

The Ugly: I had an obsession with the sun as a teenager and young adult. Picture this: I used to lay out for hours on top of aluminum foil with shortening and baby oil smeared into my skin. Last week, I went to the dermatologist to have him check out a suspicious sun spot. As a consequence for my follies, I came out having 9 pre-cancerous sun spots frozen off. (Pretty picture, see?)

Finally: Today is the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that he was a prophet of God, called to restore the true and living Church of Jesus Christ back to the earth today. Millions shall see Brother Joseph again!

Oh my. My parents' account got hacked last year. It was really frustrating. But the bank did a great job and completely took care of it. Go Wells Fargo.

Aluminum foil? Shortning? Ew. Did it work?

Wow...I'm sorry to hear that. I worry about that. I'd love to know how to avoid such things...

OUCH!!!!!! On both the bank account and the cancer stuff. That is not great! Oh, and I LOVE how you are constantly bearing your testimony in your blog. What an example. I have loved sitting here reading all of your posts. It has made a very calm ending to my day.
