You Know You're a Bad Parent When...

Your kid loses her 2nd tooth and expectantly places it under her pillow. You forgot, so at midnight, you ransacked her piggy bank for a buck. Lame, I know.

yeah, but did you ever have to play the "are you sure you looked carefully" then sneak back in when they weren't looking cause you forgot to put any money there?
I've actually pulled that one a couple of times. The last time he assured us he has search thoroughly, so we had to admit there were times the tooth fairy was so busy that he might just have to try again tonight.
Now that's good parenting :).

Not lame. Resourceful. A good tooth fairy always keeps all options in mind. Luckily there was a piggy bank to raid :)
